Use the 2 blue slots to install the RAM first, ie 1 stick of memory The RAM in the blue slot and one stick of RAM in the blue slot. Add more slots for additional RAM black. Slots are the slot DIMM 0 blue and black 1 are the DIMM slots. Match pairs of RAM 0 to 0 and 1 to 1. If you only have 1 stick of RAM to put in the slot closest to the CPU, which will be a blue slot.
