I have a camera / camcorder that sought input DC (3 V), what is and what is it used? IM wondering if it is a machine that I connect to my computer so I used to use up the battery and instead of not losing computer power? Is this it? thanks
If a video camera, it came with a cord that plugs into the DC input to charge the battery while the camera is off. It stops charging when you turn on the camera. The battery is not used until the cable is disconnected from the device or outlet. If this camera is an optional (for most cameras) that powers the camera so you do not drain your battery while shooting or connected to your computer. In most cases, there is a separate charger included because batteries are not charged in the chambers. The camera can recharge the battery inside are mostly Kodak and Casio (usually through a base) and Sony (and some almost) through a cable connected to the bottom of the device. There may be other low-end cameras that do this, but most use AA batteries. These costs never a rope to the camera because you can get alkaline batteries IT and was going to explode if charged.
