Can anyone explain the types of RAM for me?
I want to buy more RAM for my HP desktop. Currently I have 2 x 512 PC2-4200U-444 and I want to buy another 1 GB 1.The is important to mix with a map of a 512 MB card x 2 or 2512 I can buy other cards (I have 2 free slots and more). 2. What is the difference between saying that my one -444 and -533 than the previous one, several of which I could find on eBay. Are they on my machine? Thank you from a fool of RAM!

Running in the modules of different capacity, dual-channel configuration will affect performance (if implemented at all). You should check your manual plate to ensure that this configuration is still supported (may be limited to a certain amount, like 2 GB for example). 2. The 444 and 533 are in fact the memory speed in MHz (compared to the actual speed). The two must work on your machine (assuming you are the specifications RAM memory and its current memory), but can not operate at its full potential. Check your motherboard manual for compatible memory speeds. If it can handle faster memory is designed PC 4200 higher speeds to take place, but underclocked at the maximum speed supported by the motherboard.
