Asus 8800GT 512 MB not have problems with PCI-Exp on older nForce 4 Ultra motherboards?
I read the forums the 8800GT is PCI-EXP v2.0 is not fully compatible bacwards as they say. My old MF4 Ultra nForce 4, which has PCI-EXP v1.0a work with this beauty of a card.
It should work well in X16 mode. Crappy mothers have problems with PCI-E 2.0 card in a PCI-E x16 slot. A nForce board should be good. Your diet should be at least 22 amps on a 12V rail to support the 8800GT, so make sure that your diet can provide.
