i took off the cover of my computer today and…?
i blew it out with compressed air. i also took out the memory module to see what kind it was from DIMM 1 slot. i put it back in and all works fine. the problem is, since then, i have noticed the computer has been kind of like surging. i guess you could say. i noticed/ heard this little buzzing noise coming from the computer, and while it did it the light in my room would dim. it would buzz for a bout a second or two then it would be normal, 5 seconds later it would buzz again. turned it off and now it is working fine. however i was on it just a couple minutes ago, and for a split second, my room light dimmed, the tv flickered, and the computer did not sound healthy at all, kind of like a zap in the computer, and made everything dim. it is running fine now, with no noises or anything.
what do you guys, and gals think?
First, double check all connections. It could be you didn’t reconnect something properly
Second, are you on a surge protector? if not get one.
